A little care goes a long way. Follow these tips to help keep your ARMES rental in beautiful condition, so the next person can enjoy it too.
Gently remove dust with a soft, dry microfiber cloth. Avoid harsh cleaners, chemicals, alcohol-based products, and aggressive rubbing. For stains or spills, contact ARMES rather than attempting to treat the bag yourself.
Keep your bag away from lotions, perfumes, hand sanitizer, makeup, and other beauty products. These can stain or discolor leather, canvas, and hardware. Let products dry before handling your bag.
Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight and heat can cause fading, discoloration, and drying of leather. When not in use, keep your bag in a cool, dry place away from windows and heat sources.
Avoid rain, liquids, and high humidity. If your bag gets wet, gently blot with a clean, dry cloth and allow it to air-dry naturally at room temperature. Never use a hair dryer or direct heat.
Use clean hands and carry the bag by its intended handles or strap. Be aware of sharp objects, rough contact, and pressure that could scratch, crease, or damage the material.
When not in use, place your bag in the provided dust bag in a cool, dry place. Store it upright, avoid stacking heavy items on top, and keep its shape without overstuffing. No purse pillow is required.
Pens, markers, and other writing instruments can leak or transfer ink and permanently mark the inside of a handbag. Keep them in a separate, secure pouch—never loose inside your rental.
Carry only your essentials. Overfilling can stretch the bag, strain its handles, and cause creasing or damage to the hardware. Close zippers and clasps gently without forcing them.
Avoid placing your bag on rough, wet, dirty, or abrasive surfaces. Choose a clean, flat surface or use a handbag hook when available to protect the base and corners from scuffs and stains.
For loose dust on suitable textured surfaces, use only a very soft, clean, dry brush with minimal pressure. Do not brush delicate leather or coated finishes; when in doubt, contact ARMES before cleaning.
